Home and School Association

The Home and School Association (HSA) is an organization of parents, teachers and administration, which meets six times a year. Its objectives include, but are not limited to the following:

	To help parents and teachers create and instill a profound appreciation of the ideals of Catholic education within the community of Holy Trinity Interparochial School (“HTIS”);
	To promote a clear understanding of the mutual educational responsibilities of parents and teachers, so that parents and teachers may better cooperate in a the spiritual, intellectual and emotional training and development of the children;
	To provide effective communication between the school and home in matters of mutual concern to the parents, the principal, the pastors and the teachers;
	To coordinate HSA activities with the policies established by the School Advisory Board (“SAB”) and those of the Office of Education of the Archdiocese of Newark;
	To provide support to HTIS through involvement in special events, fund-raising and development projects;
	To act as an advocate for parents and children and seek legislation favorable to Catholic schools; and
	To establish and maintain communication between HSA and SAB.

The Home School Association can only be effective with your involvement. Take an active role in your child's experience of Catholic education. Involvement with the HSA is a wonderful way to meet others that have deep family values. Here are links to a List of Committees with a brief description of what they do and a Volunteer Form.
