EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

It is never too early to plan for a snow emergency and the type of closing we may have due to inclement weather. If school is closed totally, the Holy Trinity snow chain is put into operation via the HSA. Click on the link above for current closing information.

If there is a delayed opening of school, the HSA phone chain will also notify you of that. On delayed opening days, students are permitted into the Westfield Campus building at 10:00 a.m. Classes start at 10:15 a.m. Please note that on delayed opening days, there will be no hot lunch served in the cafeteria. (Bagels, PB&J sandwiches, drinks and snacks will be available.)

The Mountainside Campus will open at 10:15 a.m., Kindergarten classes will start at 10:15-2:30 p.m. The pre-k delayed opening schedule is as follows: a.m. class-10:15-11:30 and the p.m. class 12:00-2:30.

Normally, there will be no early dismissal due to inclement weather. However, when conditions threaten children’s safety, a 12:30 dismissal for Westfield Campus and 12:00 noon for Mountainside Campus is possible. You will be notified via the HSA phone chain, not the school office. If you choose to pick your child up, you should come to the front office.

There will be no Before Care on school days which have a delayed opening.
